After 20 years of publishing the International Journal of Healing and Caring, at the age of 80, Ive decided its time to retire. Its been a long road, publishing 3 issues annually, with 4-7 articles in each issue. I was delighted and privileged to encounter many wonderful therapists in the process of editing and publishing each issue of the IJHC. In many cases they sought me out with their article submissions. In other instances, I invited them to propose ideas and experiences to share from their varied practices in the spectrum of assessments and guidance of many clients in their broad varieties of wholistic healing.
We found that many therapists and clients assumed the ways they were practicing and experiencing therapy were THE way to practice and receive healing. Both therapists and clients were very pleased to discover the breadth and depth and varieties of alternatives available in alternative therapies.
