Dr. Robert J. Gilbert, a scholar, teacher, and founder of the Vesica Institute for Holistic Studies, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. Born and raised in Trussville, Alabama, Dr. Gilbert exhibited a deep curiosity and passion for understanding the mysteries of life from a young age. Dr. Gilbert’s time as a Marine instilled in him discipline, dedication, and a profound sense of service. His pursuit of higher education led him to study both scientific and esoteric subjects, bridging conventional science with ancient wisdom. In 2009, Dr. Gilbert founded the Vesica Institute for Holistic Studies, a center dedicated to exploring consciousness, energy healing, and the deeper mysteries of existence. The Vesica Institute will continue its mission and his influence will remain a guiding force for those seeking deeper knowledge and transformation.
